RELOADING AMMUNITION TIPS
The responsibility for reloading ammunition rests solely with the individual performing the activity.
Reloading is a hazardous process that should only be conducted by certified individuals who have passed the necessary examinations required to purchase reloading components.
M&B provides recommendations for suitable powders only.
It is impossible for us to know the condition of your firearm, the quality of your equipment, your technical proficiency, or other variables involved in the reloading process.
Consequently, M&B assumes no liability for any consequences resulting from improper reloading. Our guidance is limited strictly to powder recommendations.
Always increase powder charges gradually.
Watch for Pressure Signs: Monitor your brass and firearm for any signs of excessive pressure.
Start Low: Begin with a load at least two grains lower than the values listed in the following table and work up incrementally.
Temperature Sensitivity: Be aware that changes in ambient temperature can significantly alter ignition pressure.
Batch Variations: Every powder reacts differently, even within the same brand. Different batches of powder, bullets, and primers from the same manufacturer can cause significant pressure variations. An unfavorable combination of these variables can be extremely dangerous.
Technical Knowledge: To avoid dangerous errors, you must be familiar with your barrel’s twist rate and bore diameter.
